Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Must possess or obtain an Engineer Intern certificate.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Solid interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to diligently research applicable requirements and regulations.
  • Advanced mathematical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with project design elements for engineering projects using standard techniques and established methods.
  • Perform entry-level plan production with clearly defined instructions.
  • Gain knowledge and experience working within design and modeling software.
  • Assist with project schedules and technical engineering calculations under guidance from senior-level staff.
  • Contribute to limited portions of broader projects under direct supervision.
  • Gather and prepare research for the assembly of technical reports.
  • Provide mentoring to student interns by answering questions and offering guidance on routine assignments when needed.
  • Travel and work in various terrain and weather conditions at project sites in different stages of construction when needed.
  • Support marketing and business development efforts, coordinate with technical staff, and promote efficiencies in producing quality work.
