Requirements
  • Experience driving business development and partner management of data or SaaS to pharmaceutical/life science industry, healthcare insurance, health provider, and/ or government services ecosystem
  • Built, deployed, and/or scaled technology platform supporting Healthcare businesses and patient outcomes
  • Ability to communicate complex and/or technical concepts succinctly and effectively to senior level executives
  • Functional understanding of healthcare information technology, data & analytics, and software development
  • Ability to demonstrate thought leadership in healthcare across multiple channels and become a trusted advisor to senior technical and business decision makers
  • Understanding of complex sales cycles at strategic level and knowledgeable about the healthcare industry technology/software solutions
  • Candidates need to possess the ability to impact and influence partners with a high degree of autonomy, energy, flexibility, and the drive to create real and measurable business results; Must have proven negotiation skills and strong ability to influence decision-makers
  • Commercial Acumen - Understands customer business strategy and Key Performance Indicators, understands key financial indicators used to make business decisions, understands industry trends, key challenges, and market competition, communicates product features, benefits, and support and responds to customer questions
  • Customer 1st - revenue and business results are critical, but must be in service or benefit to the Kroger Customer
  • Educational background in business, technology, and science (Masters preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience working in healthcare industry with focus on technology platform and/or healthcare data & analytics
  • 6+ years of experience influencing strategic decision making and analytic solution development
  • 6+ years of experience managing, recruiting, training, developing, coaching, and/or inspiring highly motivated associates
  • Ability to present technical solutions to non-technical audience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for defining and owning Commercial Healthcare strategy and delivery across the range of 84.51°'s healthcare products and services, including aligning to and supporting the development of key strategies and sales of products and services in the Kroger Health organization, in alignment with 84.51° and Kroger Senior Executives
  • Serves as single point of contact to Kroger Health, and is responsible for specific internal and external oversight of the commercial channel for 84.51°'s healthcare products and solutions with overall client growth, relationship management, and satisfaction as key objectives
  • Identify, engage, educate, and attract partnerships with companies that enable Kroger Health's value-based healthcare, food as medicine, and clinical trial strategies
  • P&L accountability for Healthcare alternative profit efforts (on a path to be a $500MM proforma)
  • Value creation measurement and prioritization of Kroger Health's and retail growth efforts (north of $1B in retail revenue and profit enablement) and alternative profit streams ($2B in operating profit at maturity)
  • Manage the contracting process during which partners negotiate the terms of their relationship with 84.51°
  • Become an expert on the partner's business in the context of the overall health care industry. Understands how our partners differentiates themselves in markets and synthesize the unique value 84.51° can add to maximize value creation and overall differentiation
  • Organize cross-functional teams to activate health & wellness science products driving efficiency and positive patient outcomes through Kroger's health physical and digital footprint
  • Support the strategic direction of Kroger Health and create science & analytics to support the core (patient acquisition, adherence, etc.), healthcare delivery and alternative profit products and services (food as medicine, value -based care, clinical trials, etc)
