  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related non-destructive testing experience.
  • Candidate must meet and be able to prove OJT hours necessary for certification to NAS-410 in the following methods.
  • Current NDI Level II Certification in PT (Penetrant) in accordance to NAS-410
  • Current NDI Level II Certification MT (Magnetic Particle) in accordance to NAS-410
  • Current NDI Level II Certification ET (Eddy Current) in accordance to NAS-410
  • Current NDI Level II Certification UT (Ultrasonic) in accordance to NAS-410
  • Current NDI Level II Certification RT (Radiographic) in accordance to NAS-410
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access
Responsibilities
  • Performs non-destructive tests (NDT) on aircraft engines or components.
  • Inspects metallic and nonmetallic materials, parts and assemblies for defects using automated and manual methods and techniques including radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, eddy current, laser shearography, and magnetic particle.
