Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Security Assurance SME to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with the Information Security Manual (ISM) and conducting risk assessments. They must possess excellent written communication skills, capable of providing clear and concise narratives for complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments and manage risk registers
• Ensure compliance with ISM and other relevant standards
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and controls related to security assurance
• Articulate complex issues into simple, understandable written narratives
• Collaborate with technical teams to address security and compliance risks
• Participate in audits and compliance reviews

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in GRC roles, focusing on ISM and risk assessments
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to distill complex issues into straightforward narratives

Desirable Skills

• Technical background in application or platform tools
• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) training certification
• Knowledge and experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
• Additional certifications in GRC or related disciplines are a plus

Security Clearance

• Current Baseline Security Clearance and willingness to upgrade to NV1
• Australian Citizens with ability to obtain a clearance considered
