- Serve as project manager for utility coordination and engineering projects.
- Have direct responsibility for Subsurface Utility Engineering and utility coordination or engineering projects.
- Oversee the preparation of existing Subsurface Utility Engineering utility plans.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of field data and deliverables.
- Conduct meetings, prepare agreements and cost estimates, and review design plans, specifications, and other submittals.
- Design and review utility relocation plans to comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Experience designing and reviewing utility relocation plans in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of the Texas Department of Transportation Utility Accommodation Rules.
- Knowledge of the Texas Department of Transportation Utility Manual.
- Knowledge of the Texas Department of Transportation Roadway Design Manual.
- Knowledge of the Texas Department of Transportation Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
- Knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations, Title 23, Part 645, Subparts A and B, concerning utilities.
- Knowledge of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance Association standards.
