RF Engineer

Key Role:

Perform as a part of a team that is leading the study of spectrum repurposing for a client Assist the client through the client’s Spectrum Study. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with RF engineering and EMI and EMC analyses
• Experience with RF analysis and report development
• Experience with spectrum dependent systems
• Experience with evaluating systems’ RF compatibility
• Knowledge of spectrum systems
• Knowledge of documenting and briefing spectrum considerations
• DHS Suitability
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with EL-CID and EL-CID Online
• Possession of excellent analytical skills
• Equipment Spectrum and National Spectrum Policies Certification

Vetting:

Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client; DHS Suitability is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
