Requirements
  • AHPRA registration as a Provisional Psychologist through a 5+1 or 4+2 internship, supported by a relevant qualification in Psychology; or ASORC membership as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, supported by a relevant qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
  • A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • A current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and address physical, psychological, social, environmental, and organisational risk factors that may affect a worker's ability to return to work.
  • Provide strategies to address identified risk factors.
  • Complete return-to-work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
  • Provide holistic support to restore an individual's highest level of functional performance through Initial Needs Assessments, Workplace Assessments, and Vocational Assessments.
  • Deliver vocational counselling and facilitate interventions, wellbeing programs, training, and upskilling.
  • Collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical professionals, and other allied health professionals.
