  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of experience in a financial crimes, compliance, or risk role with proficiency in BSA/AML laws and regulations
  • Experience developing and implementing a Quality Control or Quality Assurance program
  • Shown experience in financial crimes program management, audit and exam management, issue management, and control evaluation
  • Proven leadership or people management experience, including coaching less experienced team members
  • Prior experience collaborating with internal or external auditors, regulators, or other governmental team members, as well as internal senior management
  • Highly organized and adept at leading competing priorities and diverse stakeholder groups
  • Collaboration, communication, and relationship building skills, with an ability to influence team members across the organization
  • Excellent writing, critical thinking, and executive communication skills
  • Strategic vision and ability to motivate and encourage team members
