  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Tennessee or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in water resources design and permitting
  • Strong reputation and recognized relationships within the Tennessee regional marketplace, particularly with environmental regulatory agencies
  • Experience in mentoring and managing teams to ensure professional growth and effective project execution
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, HydroCAD, or other water resources software
Responsibilities
  • Manage stormwater permitting, erosion prevention, and sediment control permitting for transportation and site development projects
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews to ensure project accuracy and compliance
  • Provide mentoring, training, and oversight to junior staff and engineers
  • Manage water resource-related projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met
  • Pursue client management and business development opportunities to expand the firm’s portfolio
