About the Role:
The integrated communications team at Tools for Humanity is on a mission to raise awareness, understanding and enthusiasm for the Worldcoin project across a diverse range of stakeholders. The broader community building integrations and technologies to support the Worldcoin project are an important audience for the integrated communications team to reach and to engage with exciting and innovative ways.
The integrated communications team at Tools for Humanity is eager to expand its team to include a lead of partner and community communications. This dynamic and creative individual will be responsible for not only shaping how Tools for Humanity (and its work to support the Worldcoin project) show up for the partner community but also for helping curate and drive awareness of the special stories as to how third parties are advancing the mission of Worldcoin. The lead of partner and community communications will play a key role in helping drive awareness both internally and externally of the innovative work the partner community is doing to support the Worldcoin protocol. As an embedded member of the integrated communications team, this individual will have the opportunity to work cross functionally, and in a global capacity, with the product, market ops, legal and marketing teams at Tools for Humanity.
This is a brand new role within the organizer and is a perfect opportunity for someone with prior experience in partner and community communications who also possesses an entrepreneurial or builder drive.
In this role you will:
- Build (and design for scale) the partner and community communications function
- Develop an understanding of the Worldcoin project, the markets in which it operates and its key audiences; craft creative and high impact communications strategies that help spotlight the community building for and supporting the Worldcoin project
- Work cross functionally to understand strategic expansion and product plans which flow through to partner and community comms strategies
- Create and drive efficient and effective processes to support the partner community while preserving the Tools for Humanity and Worldcoin brands
- Lead the development and execution of workshops, templates and other resources for partner communications and marketing departments
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; 5+ years of experience in partner or community communications
- Prior experience with startups and global companies that operate in a highly dynamic environments and at a fast pace
- Exceptional writing and critical thinking skills; keen eye for detail
- Innate ability to work cross functionally and to build scaled systems and processes
- Self-starter and independent thinking who can thrive in a dynamic environment while not always having all of the information or details
- Creative thinking with an ability to thrive in high pressure and crisis situations
- Passion for the Web3/Crypto community and for work-related travel

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at TFH in San Francisco ranges from $170,000 - $185,000, plus a competitive long term incentive package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
