- B.S. EE or equivalent work experience
- 2+ Years experience in industrial controls or design of industrial control systems
- Experience with electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, and UL 508A
- Knowledge of IEC 61511 and ISO 13849
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to execute with a calm and collaborative urgency

- Creation of schematics, mechanical assemblies, and layouts using CAD tools
- Make calculations such as heat flow, FLA, and SCCR
- Spec, select, and test electrical components
- Continue development and implementation of standards, symbol libraries, design templates and tools, and manufacturing and QA procedures
- Reading P&IDs to create IO lists and to define requirements
- Working with suppliers to procure materials standardize on available parts
