Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse through the State Board of Nursing.
  • Current PPD documentation and current hands-on CPR certification are required.
  • Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to the areas of experience.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned geographic region and work alternate shifts on short notice, including on-call field visits.
  • Consent to a background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
  • Provide quality in-home care and infusions within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Administer specialty pharmacy infusion therapies and injectables, and teach patients self-administration, in homes, infusion suites, or physicians' offices.
  • Access and maintain SPC, PIV, midlines, CVADs including PICC lines and implanted ports, and administer SCIG.
  • Perform phlebotomy and laboratory processing while following infection-control measures.
  • Coordinate nursing-care planning with the Director of Nursing and make appropriate clinical decisions in patient care delivery.
  • Update clients and patients proactively regarding plans of care, health changes, and related incidents.
  • Apply knowledge of age-specific physiological and developmental differences across patient populations.
  • Ensure safe patient care and follow policies, procedures, and standards for time management, supply management, productivity, and service quality.
  • Administer CPR and other emergency procedures as necessary.
Desired Qualifications
  • One year of infusion nursing experience.
  • Home health experience, including patient assessments, wound care, medication management, and infusions.
  • At least two years of medical-surgical or critical-care/emergency-room experience.
  • At least one year of recent infusion experience.
