The Opportunity at Komodo Health:
The Principal Product Strategy Manager, RWE/HEOR Market Segment is accountable for defining and refining Product Strategy, driving customer engagement, and collaborating closely with UX Research and Product Management to realize the Product Strategy with consideration to both data and software application suite.
They are experts of their domain who stay abreast of the market trends and the competitive landscape and have a deep thinking about how Real World Data (RWD) could complement randomized clinical trials (RCTs) to accelerate drug development as well as support health economics and outcomes research analyses.
They champion market & customer needs, define the product strategy, partner with design & product on realizing the said strategy, and support go-to-market strategy to drive revenue growth, account penetration and customer retention.
Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have accomplished…
- Established and began to execute a product strategy (what/why/when to build vs. buy vs. partner and how to win customers) that delivers products that meets customer’s current and future needs in your domain to meet revenue targets, increase account penetration, and support customer retention
- Partnered across engineering and product organizations to deliver on product roadmap with predictability and timeliness, making tradeoffs between short term and long term customer needs
- Established a shared an understanding of our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats within your domain
- Established competitive business models (pricing levels, pricing levers, SKU definitions, product bundles) for product offerings in your domain that supports revenue growth and account penetration targets.
You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities…
- Defining and prioritizing product offerings and/or product features via the product roadmap, factoring in customer needs, technology and data dependencies and the market opportunity in the short term and long term
- Consistently meet externally with customers and partners to understand market trends, competitive landscape and customer needs
- Successfully partner across matrixed organization of Product, Data Product and Engineering to deliver product offerings in line with product strategy for your domain
- Successfully partner across organization with Go-To-Market Operations to define and execute go-to-market strategy that emphasizes our value proposition and positioning to predictably within their domain
- Partner closely with Product Marketing to consistently evolve and share our value proposition and positioning in the market
What you bring to Komodo Health (required):
- Deep market domain expertise - clear understanding of use cases, user & buyer personas, industry challenges , competitive landscape across data, analytics and workflow software solutions in Real world data & Real world evidence market
- Superb understanding of domain-specific enterprise SaaS and B2B solutions for data and analytics and how they are leveraged to drive value for customers in their domain
- Demonstrated leadership of moving ideas from discovery to delivery with a proven ability to approach prioritization between what can be done vs what should be done
- An analytical, data-driven approach to understanding the competitive landscape, Komodo’s business, and strategic opportunities
- Effective oral and highly visual written communication skills with the purpose of bringing clarity to complexity and communicating to inform and influence across cross-functional teams and leadership.

Compensation at Komodo Health
The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of pay that we reasonably expect to pay across all U.S. locations and may span more than one career level. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.
The U.S. national starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan.
$204,000—$276,000 USD
Where You’ll Work
Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
