The Assistant Manager-Nursing aides in the management of the nursing staff within a specific department to ensure the care delivered in the department supports HSHS's commitment to high-quality patient care. HSHS leader are tasked with leading a specific area or function and furthering the mission and core values of the organization. In the Franciscan tradition HSHS leaders put the needs of others before their own and model HSHS core values holding themselves and others accountable to these values.
- Schedule: day shift but it will be fluid with possible presence in the evenings (as night shift arrives at 6:30pm). Typically M-F but there will be expectation for some weekends
- Ideal candidate will have some type of leadership experience (team lead/charge, house supervisor or past managerial experience). Must assist with staffing if the need arises. ED experience preferred but not required. This position will be instrumental in leading quality initiatives, and assisting with educational needs of the department. Education
Bachelors Nursing Preferred
Experience
2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting is required.
2 years' experience in a charge nurse lead nurse or related position is preferred
.Certificate License Registration
Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required where necessary
CPR certification is required.

Pay Range:
$39.60 - $59.40
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
