- A completed technical or natural-sciences degree, such as safety engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Completed qualification as an occupational safety specialist under the German Occupational Health and Safety Act and DGUV Regulation 2.
- Training as a fire-safety officer; additional qualifications in preventive fire protection are advantageous.
- Qualification or certification in data protection, or willingness to pursue continuous professional development.
- Several years of professional experience in occupational safety, health, safety and environment, health management, or comparable functions, ideally in a construction-related or industrial environment.
- Sound knowledge of the relevant statutory requirements for occupational safety, fire protection, and data protection.
- Experience with audits, management systems, authorities, and external inspection bodies.
- Willingness to travel within Germany.
- Take responsibility for occupational safety, health protection, fire-protection management, and data protection across all Doka Germany locations.
- Develop and monitor processes, standards, and management systems to ensure legal compliance and minimize risk.
- Plan, conduct, and follow up on audits, safety inspections, risk assessments, and data-protection checks.
- Provide expert advice to executive management, managers, and branches on occupational safety, fire protection, and data protection.
- Manage the safety culture and initiate and implement prevention, awareness, and training measures.
- Coordinate with authorities, employers’ liability insurance associations, auditors, fire departments, and external inspection organizations.
- Maintain and develop the operational fire-protection organization, including evacuation, alarm, and fire-protection concepts.
- Ensure implementation of data-protection requirements under the General Data Protection Regulation and the German Federal Data Protection Act in close cooperation with the data-protection officer.
- Prepare key performance indicator reports and management reports, and derive and monitor appropriate improvement measures.
- Represent the specialist areas to customers, partners, authorities, and within the organization.
- Additional qualifications in preventive fire protection.
- Experience in a construction-related or industrial environment.
