Responsibilities
  • Decouple business domains and architect, implement, and maintain new microservices
  • Develop modern, API-driven services using Symfony/Doctrine or similar frameworks
  • Deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable API integrations
  • Participate in design and implementation across full development lifecycle including CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
  • Contribute to modernization of a legacy PHP monolithic application into a microservice architecture on AWS
  • Collaborate within an Agile Scrum environment to drive transformation
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure including services used for microservices deployment (e.g., ECS/EKS, API Gateway, Lambda, RDS)
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code
  • Strong understanding of security best practices for API design and AWS cloud security
  • Experience with PHP and modern PHP frameworks beyond Symfony/Doctrine is a plus
  • Familiarity with monolithic to microservices migration patterns and anti-corruption layers
