- Support the Office Manager and Coordinator in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Orthodontic Clinic
- Assist in maintaining clinic equipment and promptly report any issues to the Office Manager
- Help to maintain patient flow pattern by seating patients promptly and begin procedures
- Place separators, elastic chains, and wires
- Prepare teeth for bonding of braces and Invisalign attachments
- Scale cement and check patient for loose brackets or bonds
- Monitor oral hygiene of patients and instruct on correct brushing
- Deliver all instruments to sterilization to be sterilized
- Keep drawers stocked, clean, and replenished
- Debrief patients and parents after appointments
- Take X-rays, CBCT, iTero scans, and impressions
- Chart notes for patients seen and schedule next appointments
- Answer any questions for parents regarding treatment
- Assist Orthodontist in any given procedure
- Backup Sterilization
- Perform side tasks daily and/or monthly as assigned by Clinic Coordinator
