Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Electrical and Digital Engineering
- Experience Using Electrical Design SW
- Experience with using Electrical Equipment for Testing Circuitry in a Lab Environment
- Must be a regular, full-time college student and be registered and eligible to participate in the cooperative education or internship program
- Must have completed a minimum of four semesters or two years of study
- Must be pursuing a degree in an applicable course of study relevant to Electrical Engineering
- Must be a citizen of the United States
- Preferred to maintain an overall 3.0 grade point average or better
Responsibilities
- Assisting a Senior Electrical Engineering Mentor in designing, building, and testing electrical equipment involved in Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) instrumentation
- Using design tools to assist in the development of digital and power circuitry
- Breadboard assembly and handling circuitry in an ESD sensitive environment
- Using oscilloscopes, voltmeters, signal generators, power supplies, and other equipment to power and validate circuit responses
- Assimilating data using MS Excel
- Assisting in writing technical docs like user instructions or test procedures
