Job Duties:
The Athletic Operator is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the successful production of both athletic and non-athletic events held in or on the athletic facilities. The Athletic Operator will play a vital role in creating a world class in-game atmosphere.
Reporting Relationship:
Reports to the Director of Operations and Events
Work Setting/Work Schedule:
This is a casual, part-time position
Ability to work a variety of schedules - including days, nights and weekends
Work may be performed in various sports facilities - both indoor and outdoor
What You Will Do:
Specific responsibilities will vary based upon the game day needs, but may include:
Providing exceptional customer service on event day.
Assist with on-field/court activities as needed.
Greet patrons and assist with finding their designated seating area.
Enforce University & Athletic Department policies.
Serve as a statistician, replay operator and/or time out coordinator
Supervise hospitality and restricted areas.
What You Will Bring:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Detail-oriented and reliable in completing tasks
Basic knowledge on concepts relating to athletic game management.
Ability to work well independently and in team settings
Physical Requirements:
Work involves physical activity, such as: walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time

12.50-12.50
The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.
This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time, all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of the application.
