Requirements
  • Basic understanding of ASC 606 revenue accounting rules and related literature.
  • Proven ability to achieve results in a fast-moving dynamic environment, deal with high volume data transactions and solve data discrepancy within short turn-around time.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze problems, as well to multi-task and meet deadlines under urgent requirement.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously and work with grace under pressure.
  • Strong drive for excellence with an established practice of eliciting functional and cross functional collaboration to achieve excellence/results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill, self-motivated and self-directed; however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people as a team member.
  • Excellent follow-through and meticulous eye for detail.
  • Microsoft Excel skills and SAP RAR experience are required.
Responsibilities
  • Support SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) system implementation
  • Perform migration data validation for the SAP RAR system implementation
  • Review revenue allocation in RAR to ensure the proper data flow and revenue allocation and explain the reasons for the revenue allocation changes
  • Perform financial and accounting analysis to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with Company policies and GAAP
  • Responsible for preparation of revenue recognition including installation letters, deliverables; deferrals, and reconciliations, etc.
  • Assist with preparations of key revenue forecasts and analytics for management
  • Prepare audit PBC schedules; submit to and review with management and audit team.
  • Perform special projects as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • 2+ years of SAP Experience including RAR
  • 2 years or more as revenue accountant or higher, preferably in a high tech, internet company or medical device.
  • Advanced EXCEL skills
  • Audit firm experience
