- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current license by the State of Indiana in good standing.
- Prefer at least one year’s experience in Long Term Care or related field.
- Must display good emotional health and be capable of extended periods of standing, bending and heavy lifting.
- Ability to maintain professional attitude, including confidentiality, concern for all people, cooperativeness and conscientious use of time.
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care for residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with facility standards, policies, and Federal and State regulations.
- Assess residents and assist in developing and implementing each resident’s plan of care.
- Supervise and manage personnel on the unit.
- Provide total care for residents on the unit and supervise direct-care staff to ensure residents’ needs are met.
- Review daily nursing staff assignments on the unit to ensure duties align with staff ability and training.
- Initiate and update nursing care plans for residents on the unit.
- At least one year’s experience in Long Term Care or a related field.
