SUMMARY
The SVP/Head of Marketing will have ownership of creating and executing MasterControl’s
marketing strategy and leading our marketing team. This role will be responsible for modernizing
MasterControl’s Marketing Organization and working directly with Sales Leadership to operate as
“one Growth Team”.
The job will include planning and executing a wide variety of marketing campaigns to build
enthusiasm about MasterControl solutions within our target audience, help position
MasterControl as a thought leader, and further grow the sales pipeline (new and expansion sales).
Qualified candidates will need a strong background in demand generation, Account-Based-
Marketing and a focus on positive returns for Marketing spend. This role will report directly to the
CRO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute Marketing strategies aligned with business
objectives, focusing on full-funnel demand generation, customer acquisition & expansion,
and retention for Master Control’s global business.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, develop, and manage a diverse team, fostering a
collaborative environment to drive innovation and productivity across all key functions of a
high-performing marketing team. Develop leaders to extend leadership reach and impact.
- Attract and hire top talent as needed.
- Modernization of Marketing: Evaluate, recommend, and implement modern Marketing
tools, technologies, and tactics to enhance Marketing effectiveness.
- ABM/ABX Implementation: Execute Account-Based Marketing to personalize engagement
and drive revenue growth.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, product, customer support,
and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in Marketing efforts and support
revenue goals.
- Performance Analysis: Data-driven decision-making. Establish key metrics, track
Marketing KPIs, and provide regular reporting to assess campaign performance and
optimize strategies accordingly.

Based Marketing and Experience strategies.
- BDR/SDR: Demonstrated success in improving the effectiveness of the growing new
business using outbound and inbound demand generation strategies and approaches.
- AI: Exposure and interest in using AI in marketing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s/MBA
preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Marketing roles (including 10+ in leadership
positions) across various marketing functions including
- Solutions Marketing
- Demand Generation
- Corporate marketing (i.e. Brand/positioning, Content and creative, PR, Events, etc.)
- Systems and technology
- Customer Marketing
- Extensive experience in B2B Marketing, preferably within manufacturing, quality, or related
industries.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Marketing analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Willingness to work from the Salt Lake office preferred.
