Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
  • A clear criminal background check, sex offender registry check, and abuse and neglect registry check are required.
  • A clear motor vehicle record background check is required when applicable to the position.
  • The candidate must be able to perform physically demanding duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including bending, kneeling, squatting, crouching, sitting, walking, running, lifting up to 50 pounds, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, seeing, hearing, and speaking.
  • The candidate must be able to respond safely to physical aggression and ensure the safety of themselves and the client.
  • The candidate must be able to learn, demonstrate, and explain physical skills of moderate complexity.
  • The candidate must be able to assist clients with hygiene and bathroom needs, including toileting and diapers, for all genders.
  • The candidate must be able to work in clinics, client homes, schools, and community settings.
Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, one-on-one therapy sessions to children, teens, and young adults diagnosed with Autism.
  • Work directly with clients on a 1:1 basis to develop self-advocacy skills, acquire life skills, and improve communication.
  • Help clients learn socially significant behaviors, manage challenging behaviors, and improve social interactions.
  • Collaborate with experienced managers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts to support client goals.
  • Serve as a positive role model and advocate for clients.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in Applied Behavior Analysis or related fields is preferred.
  • Open availability during clinic operating hours of 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM is preferred.
