Start your future with a new mission, Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, located in McLean, VA, has an immediate need for an Administrative Assistant 4.
Job Responsibilities:
This is a multi-faceted Administrative Assistant 4 requisition, for the support of a restricted program as it relates to all applicable federal, contractual, customer and company requirements. This program is part of a small program team and helps provide direct support to the successful accomplishment of program cost (invoicing and vendor payment) tasks while assisting the Program Manager oversee all fiscal aspects of the Program. Candidate will be responsible for processing all Program invoices, assist in tracking Program budget, draft and submit Purchase Requests (PRs) and process received Purchase Orders (POs). Candidate will help coordinate and resolve all Program billing and invoicing queries. Administrative Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: perform a variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance and purchasing. Candidate will gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources. Assist with management of a master calendar and Purchasing Card Program in compliance with NG policy.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma and six (6) years additional education and/or experience, experience to include administrative, accounts payable, or cost project analyst experience or directly related.
Active TS/SCI w/full-scope polygraph clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exceptional customer/client interaction knowledge and interpersonal communications skills.
Must possess very effective communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with: highly technical accounts payable/business NG personnel, high level customers, Admin Functional Support co-worker, and Program Managers. Objective of effective communication skills is so that all assigned administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner and that status reports can be effectively communicated to all vested parties.
Highly motivated, organized, strong initiative, and attention to detail individual with the ability to rapidly staff a multitude of program issues while fostering effective working relationships with many levels of internal and external customers.
Ability to multi-task and staff several Program efforts throughout the busy day.
Ability to accurately plan, schedule, and arrange Program Administrative tasks and priorities in accomplishing objectives.
Ability to display tact, discretion and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of employees and customers.
The candidate must have the eagerness and motivation to adapt to and excel in a fast-paced work environment in a variety of Admin Functional Support areas.
Computer and Microsoft desktop office software products experience.
Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $106,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
