Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a project management role or project management in a relevant area, ideally as a general contractor.
  • Knowledge of logistics, materials handling technology, automated warehouse technology, control technology, and information technology for material flow systems.
  • Extensive experience implementing turnkey materials handling and warehouse technology or related sub-areas.
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to read computer-aided design drawings developed by the team.
  • Stylistically confident spoken and written English at a conversational level.
  • A degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, or industrial engineering with a focus on materials handling technology or logistics, or comparable education, is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for implementing automated logistics systems with rack operating equipment, materials handling technology, and warehouse control, including timely and cost-effective project implementation.
  • Allocate subcontractors in coordination with Purchasing.
  • Act as the interface between the customer and internal or external partners and suppliers from incoming orders.
  • Coordinate all functions within the project.
  • Maintain an updated schedule for internal and external distribution.
  • Provide weekly reports to the internal and external team.
  • Provide monthly reports to management.
  • Transfer projects from planning and design.
  • Specify and clarify the scope of supply and services in detail.
  • Participate actively in discussions regarding information technology requirements specifications.
  • Continuously distribute updated working drawings.
  • Act as the contact person for customers and partners during construction site coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, cost, and scheduling requirements throughout the project.
  • Create risk assessments.
  • Manage construction activities and support commissioning.
  • Monitor and assess contractual services.
  • Compile complete project documentation.
  • Prepare and execute acceptances.
  • Transfer projects to After Sales Service.
