Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 3+ years’ experience
  • Active work experience in analog, digital, or mixed signal designs
  • Thorough working knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout expertise. Altium Version 20 or newer strongly preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of circuit simulation software (LTSpice, or similar)
  • Active work experience in performing electrical analyses: Operating Stress; Electrical Worst-Case
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement electronic hardware including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit boards; fabrication, assembly, test, and integration of circuit board assemblies and subsystems
  • Perform circuit analysis and simulation
  • Create schematic designs
  • Conduct circuit board layout and routing
  • Perform risk analysis
  • Produce accurate design documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware performance issues during integration, test, and verification
  • Participate in all phases of the product lifecycle including Requirements definition, Concept development, Detailed design and implementation, Test and integration, and Ongoing product support
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with DOD, SAE, IEEE, and/or IPC standards (Safety Standards RCC-319; Design Standards IPC-222x)
  • Knowledge of FPGA/VHDL and/or embedded C development
  • Active work experience in performing risk analyses: FMECA; Fault-Tree
  • Proficient with the use of diagnostics tools for hands-on testing and troubleshooting of printed circuit board assemblies including Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Data Acquisition Systems, Environmental Chambers
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
