Requirements
  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full-time BS/BA, MS, or PHD degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • Must have completed at least (2) years of studies towards a Bachelor’s degree by June 2025.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand forecasting use cases and enhance existing solutions or build new solutions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Candidates must be able to commit to full-time onsite (or hybrid if applicable) employment for 10 - 12 weeks beginning June 2025.
  • Candidates should have Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
  • Experience in working with data, time series forecasting (univariate and multivariate), and predictive modeling (Random Forest, XGBoost, etc) using Python.
  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling techniques and methodologies. Ability to work with large datasets and apply statistical models to derive actionable insights and predictions.
  • Knowledge of attention based large language models (LLMs) and their application to natural language processing (NLP) and time series forecasting.
  • Candidates should have some understanding of GenAI and prompt engineering.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI/ Qlik/ Spotfire or other BI technologies is preferred.
  • Candidates should have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
