- Manage the Epic software platform and related managed services providers
- Oversee implementations, upgrades, optimizations, and maintenance of the application/solutions/platforms
- Ensure the Epic system complies with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA
- Manage the lifecycle of the Epic EHR system, including installation, upgrades, and maintenance
- Oversee managed services of daily support operations and drive resolutions of Epic-related incidents and problems
- Ensure seamless integration of Epic with other healthcare systems and applications
- Lead a team of application administrators and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with software vendors to ensure timely updates, patches, and support
- Monitor application performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience
- Develop and manage the budget for application management, ensuring cost-effective solutions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of application configurations, processes, and procedures
