Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 years of experience in data analytics, Trust & Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields
  • 1 year of experience with GenAI technologies
Responsibilities
  • Direct the safety roadmap for high-priority GenAI launches, delivering robust testing frameworks and mitigation strategies for complex user harms and product vulnerabilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders in engineering, product, GDM (Deepmind), and legal, synthesizing perspectives to command alignment on high-stakes decisions
  • Act as the safety subject matter expert to embed guardrails directly into the product development lifecycle, ensuring they are "safer by design"
  • Convert traffic patterns and safety signals into strategic intelligence. Anticipate emerging risks to influence product roadmaps and drive continuous innovation
  • Bridge high-level strategy with precise execution, orchestrating complex testing workstreams with partners while serving as the primary "front-door" for safety-related work
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g. Python)
  • Experience making business decisions, including identifying gaps or business needs, evaluating product launches, and innovating and scaling solutions
  • Ability to handle multiple senior stakeholders, influencing safety strategy and operational execution at all levels
  • Ability to think logically and work effectively in a fast-paced/constantly changing environment and to influence cross-functionally and cross-geographically with all levels of management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels
