  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in customer facing sales role with proven success in closing
  • Strong skillset in developing and presenting business plans to c-suite decision makers
  • Demonstrated history of working with brand image and promoting value through customer experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Experience with CRM software, Salesforce preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred
Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute a daily/weekly agenda
  • Initiate sales appointments with members via teleconferencing or traveling as needed for on-site meetings
  • Meet or exceed your quarterly revenue targets and complete monthly forecast reports
  • Garner the respect of decision makers through active listening and establishing yourself as a trusted resource through research and education regarding product offerings and vendor partnerships
  • Record timely and accurate information within Salesforce, including primary contact information, summaries of interactions, and timely pipeline management
  • Lead all aspects of deal execution, including strategic and financial assessment, structuring, and negotiation
  • Develop and document strategy to build your pipeline of opportunities within your defined leads and prospects.
  • Provide prompt follow-up on verbal and written commitments and member inquiries
  • Successfully and seamlessly transition members to the Member Success team, ensuring a thorough understanding of the account and expectations
  • Initiate and engage in member account reviews
