First-Line Flightline Operations Manager (Multiple Shifts)

  • 3+ years' experience in the aerospace industry
  • Possess an A&P Repairman Certificate or ability to obtain/OR 18 month's hands-on experience with airplane production, maintenance and systems
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Ensure that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and postflight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery
  • Interface with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance
  • Develop and execute project and process plans; implement policies and procedures; set operational goals
  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers, and lead process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manage, develop, and motivate employees
Desired Qualifications
  • 1+ year of leadership experience
  • 1+ year of flight line operations experience
  • 1+ year of functional test knowledge
  • 1+ year of experience working with live customers
  • 1+ year of Experience with any of the following: avionics, troubleshooting capabilities, functional test knowledge, release, ticket experience, manufacturing, and/or structures
  • 1+ year of Proficiency using CMES and Velocity software
