  • Current Top Secret SCI security clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree and ten years of experience in a combination of military/government/civilian, or contractor experience with Government or DoD; experience with the Office of Secretary of Defense is highly preferred.
  • Enterprise-wide knowledge and familiarity with artificial intelligence work, engineering, integration, and/or acquisition lifecycle and management are required.
  • Experience with contract and Statement of Work writing is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide professional support in conducting Federal acquisition management, including acquisition planning assistance (market research and procurement strategy recommendations).
  • Develop acquisition documents such as cost/price estimates, quality assurance surveillance plans, statements of work, synopses, and solicitations.
  • Support proposal evaluations through price/cost analysis and/or technical proposal analysis.
  • Provide contract administration support, including reviewing contractor performance, developing contract modifications, and investigating contract discrepancies; provide contract close-out assistance.
  • Collaborate with Prime contractors to manage project implementation and AI development, including onboarding new contractors and coordinating with external contracting shops.
  • Provide strategic advice and draft documents supporting Subcontracts under Prime contractors for AI development via commercial vendors (drafting Scope of Work documents and overseeing their evolution to Statements of Work for subcontractors).
  • Engage in long-term strategic planning (multi-year horizons) to develop a contracting network aligning with program needs and budget across the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP), including Industry Days.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or Juris Doctorate from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, STEM, or computer science/engineering.
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) or Federal Acquisition Certification - Contracting (FAC-C) certifications.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property licensing.
  • Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Keen attention to detail.
