  • At least 5 years of pharmaceutical agency copywriting experience is required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the content development process through partnership with internal teams and clients on healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing initiatives for healthcare professional and patient audiences.
  • Partner with internal teams to turn complex data into engaging copy for healthcare professionals, patients and caregivers, and internal client audiences such as sales representatives.
  • Develop original content for digital and print deliverables, including product brochures, emails, social media, banner advertisements, videos, websites, and core visual aids.
  • Partner with Creative personnel leads to establish the creative vision and refine graphics and layouts.
  • Engage with clients to understand their brands, key messages, and creative vision and develop ideas aligned with client marketing strategies.
  • Lead and contribute to content development efforts across therapeutic teams while maintaining understanding of therapeutic areas, target audiences, and product strategy.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of materials through thorough referencing and annotation.
  • Incorporate internal and client feedback, comments, and manuscript and layout changes while maintaining the material's integrity and purpose.
  • Work with Editorial and Medical content leads to maintain up-to-date style guides and core claims documents.
  • Present work and provide rationale in internal and client content and creative reviews and meetings.
  • Work with Project Management and internal teams to develop and follow attainable project-completion timelines.
  • Follow internal and client workflows, deliverable-development procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to initiatives for existing and prospective clients.
  • Attend client and partner meetings, including promotional review committee meetings, to support content and creative development or delivery.
  • Manage resourcing and workflow for copy development, including contract personnel, in coordination with Project Management and Account Services.
  • Foster collaboration between Copy Services and other departments to support innovative solutions to departmental efficiency and client needs.
  • Support team culture, consensus building, and internal communications.
  • Keep the manager informed of departmental concerns and issues and actively work toward solutions.
