Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Finance, Math, CS, or related)
  • Proven track record of working in SEO
  • Experience with SQL and ability to pull/interpret data
  • Demonstrated insights to define strategies that improve search visibility and user experience
  • Cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to coordinate disparate team members around clear objectives and key results
  • Experience working at highly-trafficked consumer-facing sites
  • Familiarity with SEO A/B testing
  • Expert at Google Analytics & Search Console as well as SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs or analogous keyword research tools, as well as crawling tools (Screaming Frog, etc.)
  • Ability to flip between high-level critical thinking and hands-on execution
  • Outstanding analytical and executive communications skills
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute our SEO strategy, strategically growing and defending our current channel’s performance and trajectory
  • Establish channel-level traffic, revenue and conversion KPI’s, and build reporting to provide insight into channel performance
  • Build operational processes around web vitals, indexation and crawl rates to ensure our SEO program remains healthy through periods of significant change
  • Work together with the product and engineering teams, develop and execute SEO testing roadmap and plan
  • Lead keyword analysis, quantify performance, and develop content creation plans in collaboration with the marketing and editorial teams
