Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, or a related field
  • 7+ years of proven experience in successful implementation of complex or large-scale customer-facing deployments.
  • 3+ years of experience managing diverse teams, with strong leadership and team management skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical services/support environment, with a combination of hardware/software solutions
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Experience with automation tools and deployment frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the deployment strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritize deployment initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Implementation leads and forward deployed engineers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Analyze current deployment processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement automation and streamlined workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce deployment time.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, clinical success, and product support teams to ensure successful deployments and resolve any issues that arise, including acting as the first-level technical support. This also includes communicating project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and ensure successful onboarding and implementation of products and services across the lifecycle.
  • Identify potential risks in deployment plans and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery of deployment services.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of deployment operations. Regularly report on progress and outcomes to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to deployment and operations. Evaluate and recommend tools and platforms that support deployment efforts.
