Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred or equivalent experience required
  • Consulting firm/industry experience preferred
  • 5-10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity w/ preference for Financial Services industry exposure
  • Skilled in leading cyber risk assessments and controls audits using NIST or similar frameworks
  • Well-versed in various compliance, privacy, and regulatory frameworks: SOC1/2, ISO 20001, PCI DSS, FedRAMP, GDPR, CCPA, FINRA, GLBA, SOX, etc
  • Broad knowledge of cybersecurity competencies such as controls, threat hunting, incident response strategy, cloud security, application security, etc
  • Comfortable delivering end-to-end solutions: people management, strategy/roadmap, design, solution development, implementation, change management, etc
  • Competent verbal, presentation, facilitation, and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for client engagements (avg. 15-20%/year)
Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic cybersecurity consulting services for clients within our FinServ portfolio, ranging from policy definition to solution implementation & adoption
  • Manage client relationships to determine project requirements and provide status updates; translate requirements into proposals, including detailed work plans and cost estimates
  • Leverage industry-recognized frameworks to lead risk assessments & controls audits of existing organization- compliance adherence, IT processes, personnel, technologies/tools- while developing implementation strategies and roadmaps to guide solution delivery
  • Lead junior consultants on projects, delegate workstreams, and act as career advisor/mentor
  • Promote thought leadership in emerging Cybersecurity/FinServ technologies and trends through writing blogs & white papers, attending industry events, and contributing to Centers of Excellence
  • Actively build a professional & affiliate network in Consulting, Cybersecurity, FinServ, and/or broader Technology communities
