Requirements
  • Experience working within financial services in an advisory, analytics, operational, or leadership capacity covering data risk, data management, data governance, and modern data architecture.
  • Understanding of regulatory expectations and regulatory guidance related to data, including BCBS239, and experience undertaking data programmes in financial services.
  • Experience using or evaluating artificial intelligence to improve how data sets are used, managed, monitored, and reported in financial services.
  • Experience developing semantic representations of data, implementing modern data tooling, and managing teams working on data lineage, quality, and enrichment.
  • Strong programme management and team leadership skills, including operating in large teams and directing specific team delivery activities.
  • Experience creating solutions to complex technology business problems through in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs.
Responsibilities
  • Lead major, complex transformation programs at United Kingdom and global financial services clients covering a wide range of data and data transformation programmes.
  • Lead complex consulting engagements with significant client interactions, often under significant regulatory scrutiny.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by advising senior stakeholders on solutions to data, data technology, and data management challenges, using expertise across risk, business process, technology, data, analytics, and artificial intelligence.
  • Work across different client circumstances as financial services clients adapt their practices and improve their maturity and skills.
  • Write and develop points of view on industry trends.
  • Support the development of sales proposals and offerings, building commercial and business acumen.
  • Contribute data and data management subject-matter-expert knowledge to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the Risk and Compliance community and build a global network across Accenture teams and clients.
  • Build and own client stakeholder relationships to drive sales opportunity origination and value generation.
  • Manage team members to develop go-to-market strategy and sales pipeline practices, working with client account leadership as appropriate.

Accenture shares down 27%, but 11.5% yield available through put options at 35% discount

Accenture trades 37% below its 52-week high after falling 27% over the past year. In fiscal Q3 2026, new bookings declined and some managed services deals slipped into fiscal 2027. The company generated $73.1 billion in revenue over the past twelve months, with operating margins widening to 17% in Q3. Managed services revenue grew 5% in local currency. In the first nine months of fiscal 2026, clients made 104 quarterly bookings exceeding $100 million, up 13% year-on-year. Consulting revenue grew just 1% in local currency in Q3. Management attributes the slowdown to the Middle East conflict affecting regional and discretionary spending. The CEO acknowledged that client budgets have not been growing, with spending simply being redirected rather than increased.

Accenture appoints Emma Chalwin as chief marketing officer

Accenture has appointed Emma Chalwin as Chief Marketing Officer, effective 1 October 2026. She will oversee global marketing and communications, reporting to Chair and CEO Julie Sweet. Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion
