Requirements
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Fluency in English and Italian is required.
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking skills and business acumen are required.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Finance Director in consolidating and reviewing forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans for Italy and the Eastern Mediterranean and Caspian Region.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and planning outlooks, highlighting material variances, risks, opportunities, and possible outcomes.
  • Maintain an understanding of relevant revenue drivers, sources of growth, and business trends.
  • Prepare financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Update financial databases by entering, verifying, and securing data.
  • Assist in developing budgets and quarterly forecasts, and track and report on initiatives.
  • Assist in the month-end close process by preparing recurring, standard, and ad hoc reports and researching general ledger activities and variances against budget and prior year.
  • Analyze financial data and perform quantitative analyses to support sound and defensible recommendations.
  • Review and conduct simple analyses of financial planning information and reports and recommend changes to management.
  • Evaluate financial plans by identifying financial outcomes and potential returns.
  • Prepare financial presentations using charts, graphs, and econometric models.
  • Maintain best-practice policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
