The Travel Center Stocking Associate – Under 19 is responsible for stocking shelves in all department categories ranging from grocery to truck accessories.

 Starting Wage up to $17.00/hr DOE

Responsibilities

Following Restrictions must be adhered to:

• Employee will not be allowed to sell, stock, or touch alcohol, tobacco, or lottery products no exceptions.

Essential Job Duties/Functions:

• Responsible for stocking shelves to proper inventory levels.
• Ensures that inventory is rotated according to vendors and expiration dates.
• Verifies orders from vendors using the approved vendor check-in process.  
• Maintains a clean and orderly display of merchandise.

• Projects a positive attitude.
• Follows all safety policies set forth by the company policy and procedure manual.
• Provides friendly and competent customer service.
• Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled.

Additional Job Duties:

• Assists in other duties, as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):

• No experience required.  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to communicate in English. – IF APPLICABLE
• Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
• Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
• Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change when required.
• Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to read, write and perform math skills.

• Physical attendance at the primary work location is required.
