Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the data center industry, with a focus on relationship management and strategic account management.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex customer accounts, preferably within the hyperscale data center sector.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with the customer and internal teams.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the multi-billion-dollar customer, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the customer's business, goals, and strategic initiatives.
  • Foster strong, long-lasting relationships at all levels of the customer's organization.
  • Collaborate with the customer to develop and implement strategic plans that align with their objectives and Vantage Data Centers' capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion of services to enhance customer value.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of customer projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of services, maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Proactively address any issues or challenges, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with sales, engineering, operations, and other internal teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to customer management.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and communication between the customer and internal teams to align goals and expectations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights to the customer and Vantage Data Centers.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to identify new opportunities and innovative solutions for the customer.
