Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Regional Relationship Manager to oversee and nurture our relationship with a single multi-billion-dollar customer. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction, driving strategic initiatives, and supporting the ongoing growth and success of both Vantage Data Centers and our client. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the data center industry and possess exceptional relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management
o Act as the primary point of contact for the multi-billion-dollar customer, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
o Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the customer’s business, goals, and strategic initiatives.
o Foster strong, long-lasting relationships at all levels of the customer’s organization.
2. Strategic Planning and Execution:
o Collaborate with the customer to develop and implement strategic plans that align with their objectives and Vantage Data Centers’ capabilities.
o Identify opportunities for growth and expansion of services to enhance customer value.
o Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of customer projects and initiatives.
3. Operational Excellence:
o Ensure seamless delivery of services, maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.
o Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
o Proactively address any issues or challenges, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with sales, engineering, operations, and other internal teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to customer management.
o Facilitate regular meetings and communication between the customer and internal teams to align goals and expectations.
5. Market and Industry Insight:
o Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights to the customer and Vantage Data Centers.
o Leverage industry knowledge to identify new opportunities and innovative solutions for the customer.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the data center industry, with a focus on relationship management and strategic account management.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex customer accounts, preferably within the hyperscale data center sector.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with the customer and internal teams.
