Requirements

  • Available to work all 18 days of the fair (August 18 to September 4) and either Sunday-Friday or Monday-Saturday from July 20 to August 18
  • Available to work flexible hours, evening and weekends
  • Able to attend mandatory orientation session
Responsibilities
  • Directing, supervising, and assisting staff to set up, maintain, and tear down activity stations
  • Ensuring the activity areas are safe for both guests and staff
  • Training staff to effectively demonstrate program activities for children and caregivers
  • Periodically rotating through activity areas to ensure that they are well-supplied, maintained, and presentable
  • Ensuring staff are able to answer basic questions from the public regarding programming, attractions, facilities, and services
  • Identifying and escalating injury or security situations as needed to the appropriate personnel
  • Assigning staff to activity areas and rotating them throughout the day
  • Coordinating staff breaks
  • Assisting staff in their roles and responsibilities during peak periods
  • Receiving and coordinating staff requests regarding days off and shift-switches
  • Ensuring all CNE sanitizing and COVID protocols are in place and being followed by staff
