Financial analysis
  • Minimum of 10 years in the financial service/consumer lending industry
  • Minimum of 7 years in a leadership position in Collections/Recovery, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, or REO
  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees preferred
  • Valid NMLS License or ability to obtain state-specific license in all 50 states within 60 days
  • Familiarity with Federal, State, and Local regulations in Loan Origination, Servicing, and Collections
  • Leadership skills with interpersonal skills, coaching, conflict resolution, and collaboration
  • Financial analysis and basic accounting principles
  • Hands-on leadership skills with ability to influence and persuade others
  • Experience managing a geographically dispersed workforce
  • Experience managing third-party service providers in servicing and collections industry
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Designing overall Collections and Default strategy for lending products
  • Monitoring partner and vendor performance
  • Engaging internal stakeholders to maximize profitability
  • Managing relationships with vendors/partners
  • Identifying initiatives to enhance service and employee retention
  • Providing data-driven insights on KPIs
  • Leading and developing internal team members and third-party relationships
  • Accepting accountability for customer delinquency prevention and default recoveries
