Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution environment is required.
  • At least 10 years of supervisory or management experience is required.
  • At least 10 years of occupational safety experience is required.
  • The position requires working with hazardous drugs and wearing required personal protective equipment.
  • Medical approval is required to wear negative- or positive-pressure respiratory protection, including N95, full-face respirators, self-contained breathing apparatus, or powered air-purifying respirators.
  • The role requires walking, standing, squatting, bending, and lifting for shifts of up to 12 hours, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Associates must understand the potential teratogenic, carcinogenic, and reproductive risks of handling hazardous drugs.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee warehouse inbound and inventory operations, prescription dispensing and fulfillment, non-prescription fulfillment, outbound processing, and employees across multiple shifts and functions.
  • Assume responsibility for daily facility operations in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Lead managers, leads, and pharmacy technicians in dispensing and fulfilling hazardous and non-hazardous non-sterile and sterile prescriptions.
  • Monitor prescription turnaround time to meet internal standards and patient needs.
  • Ensure on-site Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance for inventory control and cycle-count procedures.
  • Ensure shipping processes are accurate to eliminate Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act violations and maintain accuracy.
  • Work with the Pharmacy Leadership team to analyze operations and improve processing efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional work with Program Managers, the Pharmacist in Charge, inventory control and quality assurance, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver key performance indicators to meet capacity and demand.
  • Perform assigned duties and projects.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with Six Sigma or Lean principles is preferred.
  • Proven experience leading technically complex projects is preferred.
