Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college (Or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing role)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership or support role
Responsibilities
  • Lead Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events to identify process wastes, understand gaps, and implement countermeasures through a solution approach
  • Drive lean manufacturing activities and project management in strategic focus areas
  • Facilitate cross functional teams in attaining desired business objectives, including process flow
  • Lead projects while also providing value as an individual contributor
  • Educate, coach, and mentor others on Lean philosophy and application
  • Facilitate, train, and coach team members in the use of Lean tools
  • Implement lean tools to pull material from internal sources/customers

  • Experience with cycle time improvement
  • Experience with waste elimination
  • Experience working in or implementing Toyota Production System or comparable continuous improvement methodology
  • Experience training others in principles of Lean methodology
