Requirements
  • Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and/or Platform Engineer
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • Extensive experience with observability and monitoring, especially with OpenTelemetry, Splunk, AppDynamics, and Datadog
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift
  • Background in DevOps practices – Exposure to how pipelines are setup and how to debug issues if any error occurs as part of deployment
  • Scripting experience with Python, Node.js, or TypeScript
  • Good debugging skills to dig deep and figure out the root cause of the problem in quick turnaround time
  • Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity planning, Linux, and shell scripting
  • Possess a 'Can Do' attitude, with a view to moving the business forward
  • Demonstrated skill and passion for operational excellence and solution delivery
  • Experience in applying compliance requirements, industry best practices, and external knowledge
Responsibilities
  • Coaching and mentoring fellow team members
  • Handle deployments to AWS and Kubernetes platforms
  • Provide support for the AWS and Kubernetes platforms, focusing on the customer-facing applications the team supports
  • Manage mobile applications in the App and Play stores, including deployments
  • Automate deployment processes and develop and refine infrastructure as code
  • Work with a global team to ensure high availability and scalability within the platform
  • Collaborate with SREs to resolve platform-related issues
  • Use Splunk and similar tools to monitor and troubleshoot platform issues
  • Handle content delivery by utilizing contentful templates.

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Consulting experience
  • Deep background working in an Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of cloud-native application architecture design patterns
  • Proven ability to assist in leading small to medium-sized teams

Coforge has reported strong third-quarter results, with net profit rising 71.2% year-on-year to ₹364 crores and consolidated revenues increasing 28.5% to ₹4,188 crores. The company secured orders worth $593 million during the quarter, with its executable order book standing at $1.72 billion. The results follow Coforge's $2.35 billion acquisition of Encora through a share swap deal. Encora's shareholders will receive approximately 20% of the combined entity's stock. The acquisition is expected to make Coforge India's seventh-largest IT firm upon closing in six months. Coforge's total debt stands at ₹2,925 crores as of December 2025 and plans to raise up to ₹5,000 crores through bridge loans or qualified institutional placement to retire Encora's liabilities. The company announced a ₹4 interim dividend per share.

Coforge plans to acquire Encora for $2 Billion; stock in focus. Coforge Ltd. is planning to acquire Encora in a transaction that has an aggregate value of $2 Billion, sources stated. This development comes ahead of the company's board meeting later today for considering a fund raise proposal. Following this meeting, the company will also convene an analyst meeting. At around 9.54 AM, Coforge was trading 0.89% lower at ₹1,722.30 per share against the previous close of ₹1,737.70 on NSE. The counter touched an intraday high and low of ₹1,744.70, and ₹1,711, respectively. Currently, private equity firm Advent International owns Encora. Advent acquired the stake in 2021. It bought the stake from Warburg Pincus at a valuation of approximately $1.5 Billion. Warburg helped the company scale its offshore delivery footprint and deepen its exposure to US enterprise clients during its earlier growth phase. Coforge acquires Encora for $2.35B in share swap to lead AI-led engineering services

Coforge has announced the acquisition of technology services firm Encora in a share swap deal valued at $2.35 billion. The transaction will be financed through $1.89 billion in equity via preferential allotment and up to $550 million in bridge loans or qualified institutional placement to retire Encora's existing debt. Existing Encora shareholders will receive approximately 45% ownership in Coforge at Rs 1,815 per share. The acquisition aims to position Coforge as a leader in AI-led engineering, data and cloud services, with the combined entity projected to reach $2.5 billion in revenue by financial year 2027. Encora brings AI-native capabilities and a composable agentic platform called AIVA. The deal is expected to close within four to six months, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals from authorities including the Reserve Bank of India.
