- Paid search expertise: Demonstrated success in scaling $XXM paid search programs to maturity; in-depth paid search platform knowledge (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads)
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills: comfortable with pivot tables, sumifs, vlookups, index match, etc
- Hands on experience with website tagging and analytics with GA4/GTM and similar tools
- Own strategy, execution and optimization for the search channel
- Scale the paid search program using business knowledge and data. Partner with internal stakeholders across demand gen, website, marketing operations, and product to continuously build and optimize within and cross-channel performance marketing efforts
- Vigorously review & monitor campaigns to ensure proper execution & measurability
- Proactively identify opportunities for A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, insight and expansion, and see through to implementation
- Research and use SEM industry trends and competitive analysis to inform strategy
- Closely monitor and analyze WoW and MoM spend and channel performance to provide proactive channel optimizations that improve performance
- Regularly socialize insights on campaign performance to ensure relevant stakeholders have visibility into program performance & roadmap
- Help develop and report on channel-specific goals and KPIs across the pipeline (from MQL to CAC)
- Cross functional collaboration: inform and educate internal stakeholders on paid search best practices - stay up to date on the best ways to maximize ROI from every dollar we invest
- Instinctively understand the need to balance automation with hands-on campaign management
- Prior B2B and B2C experience a plus; foundational understanding of the nuances between B2B media strategies/sales funnel compared to B2C
- Be able to transition between providing strategic guidance for your program & executing this strategy hands-on within the search platforms
- Project management: able to project manage both short term campaign planning and long term vision for paid search strategy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely self-motivated, self-sufficient, and detail-oriented
