- Support the planning and execution of the new facility build-out by coordinating timelines, vendors, and on-the-ground logistics as spaces and production lines come online.
- Maintain a hands-on presence on-site by tracking progress against the build-out plan, identifying gaps or delays, and driving issues to resolution.
- Help establish day-to-day operational workflows for the new facility, including layout, staffing needs, equipment setup, and material flow.
- Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure the facility is equipped, organized, and ready to operate.
- Coordinate the receipt, setup, and inventory of new equipment, fixtures, and materials arriving at the facility.
- Track and report build-out milestones and key operational metrics, flag risks early, and recommend solutions.
- Coordinate scheduling of labor, equipment, and materials to meet build-out and early production timelines.
- Assist in developing and documenting standard operating procedures as new processes are established.
- Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day operational questions during the build-out, solving problems independently before escalating when appropriate.
- Support onboarding of new facility staff on workflows, equipment, and floor expectations.
- Address build-out obstacles directly and maintain momentum.
- Split time between on-site facility work and office or administrative tasks, including reporting, email, and scheduling.
- Experience supporting a facility launch, expansion, or build-out.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field.
