Van Metre is actively looking to hire a talented Construction Manager to contribute to our New Homes Division!

As a Construction Manager at Van Metre, you’ll play a pivotal role in organizing, developing, and managing projects to ensure they’re completed on schedule, within budget, and surpassing industry quality standards. Your leadership will directly impact the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our customers.

Responsibilities: 

• Lead all construction activities to achieve annual sales and construction settlements goals.
• Conduct thorough reviews of construction plans before commencement, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
• Facilitate weekly job meetings to align trade partners with project priorities and objectives.
• Oversee construction projects to ensure adherence to approved plans and maintain our high-quality standards.
• Prepare homes for pre-settlement inspections and settlements, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate schedules and issue purchase orders in a timely manner, adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Provide exceptional customer service and attend all inspections, demonstrating professionalism and pride in our work.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure subcontractors meet contract specifications and deliver the expected level of quality.
• Monitor and ensure the completion of all pre-settlement items to streamline the settlement process.

Qualifications:

• 5-10+ years of experience in residential construction, with managerial experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Strong multitasking abilities and effective time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Base Salary: $100,000-125,000 annually (Pay is commensurate with experience, education, training, and skills)
