Started by the Co-Founder of Teachable ($250m exit with 100,000 customers) we’ve raised from world-class investors like OpenAI to change the way millions of entrepreneurs work. We’re an experienced team with significant demand creating the data layer for finance.

Ideal Candidate

• Senior or Staff-level Software Engineer who is passionate about building intuitive, scalable, and performant software and has experience building ledger-based financial or accounting systems.

• Has an enthusiasm to help define what AI can do to automate the back office for millions of online business owners.

You will

• Work closely with our Product, AI and Engineering teams to develop and implement complex financial features and systems.

• Extend dual-entry based accounting system including the General Ledger, Journal Entries, Chart of Accounts to produce accurate financial statements.

• Continuously research and evaluate new technologies to improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems.

We’re looking for someone who

• Has 3-10+ years of software engineering experience

• Has past experience leading the development of complex financial or accounting features

• Has experience with modern infrastructure (AWS, GCP)

• Has a strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns

• Has strong written and verbal communication skills and enjoys solving user problems

Bonus if you

• Have advanced finance qualifications (e.g. MS/BS in Finance or Accounting, CPA, EA, LLM, CFA).
