Requirements
  • Strong background in Audio Visual service and support
  • Advanced operating system (MacOS and Windows) troubleshooting
  • Detailed understanding of networking in MacOS
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot peripherals
  • Experience with software tools such as JAMF Pro and Microsoft SCCM
Responsibilities
  • Identifies, analyzes, and addresses problems using a wide range of analysis and solution strategies
  • Designs, plans, and develops or coordinates the development of client computing needs with a strong emphasis on Apple and Windows products
  • Utilizes software tools such as JAMF Pro and Microsoft SCCM to manage and implement patches, updates, software installations and comply with University security requirements
  • Monitors system performance; anticipates needs and upgrades
  • Collaborates with Infrastructure and Applications Team, Administration and Faculty to design and implement new concepts and ideas
  • Responsible for Tier 2 level support of the Service Desk including troubleshooting of Windows and MacOS systems
